Hello Guys, As Promised Here Is Mokee OS (5.1) ROM For Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G. It is Another Android 5.1 Based ROM For Our Device. MokeeOS is Open Source Android Custom ROM Which Can Be Great Alternative For CM Which Comes WIth Its Own Special Features. It is Also Inherits Some Problems As Previous CM I.e Are Screen Record Gives Green and YouTube Videos 360P.This ROM is Builded By Rohan Taneja And CrossPorted To Redmi Note 3G (MT6592 ) By Me :)

Workaround Fixes:-
  • Youtube 360P:- Download The OLD APK Or Patch Given Below ( I recommend APK As It will also Fix 5 sec load Bug).
  • Video Recording:- Video Recording Not Working On Default Snap Camera But Working On Rest All 3rd Party Camera Apps.
  • Screen Record Gives Green Videos:- Use SCR or Shou Recorder app and Select Software Encoder Method.

    Hi Suraj, Thanks a lot for sharing the Mooke Rom. I am comment this article because I have installed this rom & follow my observations.
    1. Rom is pretty smooth compare to CM 12.2.3
    2. Data connectivity is fast
    3. Very good UI display quality.
    4. Storage information in the file explorer is not proper.
    5. One thing is not working is games. I have tried to install Flight Simulator, Extreme landings, etc.

    Please let us know are you planning to any bugs with this rom or going to release the latest version?.

    Hats off to your hard work. I will thank you one more time from Redmi Note 3G users side.

      Storage Information Is Correct However It Shows Names Of Them Wrongly, Its an Issue in Strings In Storage ( can Be Easily Fix Though ) ( I will Work On it )
      As If Now, I Am Working On Other ROMs Like MinimalOS ( Coming Tomorrow ) And Other ROMs Like Blisspop,Carbon And Resurrection Remix OS :)

      Youtube FC causes by Playstore updates ,so update play services

    In my case ,
    this rom is smooth and nice, but until several hours it's gatting lag / slow and must be restarted. i didnt know what is the problem,
    but thanks for your work, i'm happy to tried it.
    and next wanna try your Minimal OS. ^_^
